(A) Radio : Advertisers using the medium of radio may also be classified as National or Local advertisers. The Agricultural Revolution Augmentation and...

The blessing and curse of the Agricultural Revolution is advocated with its augmentation and dissemination. Taking the stipulative definition of â€Å"blessing† and â€Å"curse† from the original premise, one can only superimpose the layman’s terms of â€Å"negative† and â€Å"positive†. Upon examination of the two classifications within the Neolithic Period and ancient Mesopotamian civilization one can confirm the premise. Therefore, the agriculture revolution was a blessing and a curse for humanity. Human society began to emerge in the Neolithic Period or the New Stone Age. This new age began around 9,000 B.C.E. by the development of agriculture in the region surrounding the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and what is commonly referred to as â€Å"The Fertile†¦show more content†¦Domestication lead to a flurry of blessings for humanity. Such as the discovery of using furs and hides for cloths, manure for fertilizer, milk as a food source, an d larger animals to pull carts and plows.5 There are many negative aspects of the development of agriculture in the Neolithic Period that impacted society greatly. One of these is that the gender roles and status in many farming villages changed negatively for women compared with the end of the Paleolithic Period. The role of the women in foraging bands at the end of the Paleolithic Period was the gathering of plants which the group heavily relied on and managing the group while the men where off hunting.6 After settling down into farming villages the roles of women were no longer helping to producing food and often stayed in the village maintaining the household and raising children.7 This major change from loose equality to the subordination of women is a negative aspect that is found throughout the ancient world. The domestication of wild game had a slew of benefits but not without its share of adverse aspects. Some of these aspects are most unpropitious such as new illnesses far mers encountered from such close contact with animals and their waste.8 The neolithic farmers were also smaller and less healthy than nomadic foragersShow MoreRelated Western Expansion Essay4115 Words   |  17 Pagesof American history. Types of the Radar Free Essays

Imagine an airplane plummeting towards the ground at a fast pace speed, its foggy outside and impossible for the pilot to regain control of the plane and he has to make an emergency stop, everyone on the plane is panicking but the pilot reassures them a safe landing, because he has a secret weapon called radar. What is radar? Radar stands for radio detecting and ranging, it is used to find radio waves and retrieve information and also to transmit radio wave information. Heinrich Rudolf Hertz a German scientist studying electromagnetic theory of light is responsible for the development of the radar system. We will write a custom essay sample on Types of the Radar or any similar topic only for you Order Now Along with other less well known scientist under him. There are multiple different types of radar,  AIR SEARCH RADAR, meaning plane missiles response.  HEIGHT FINDING RADAR- when in the air, trying to find signal to land. FIRE CONTROL RADAR. Radar was used a lot back in modern wars, mostly on ships for purposes like to avoid ship collision and to be able to find where the other boat and any other miscellaneous objects where and to either a. have the element of surprise or b. to avoid. Radar can also be used in the air, fighting while in flight can be even more dangerous than fighting by land or by the sea, but with the use of radar, planes can use antennas to detect other enemy airplanes, they might also have them in modern day airports to help the pilot find the landing strip while in the air, the radar will send transmitted information to the pilot that will help them prepare to land. It’s not only used for these practices though it can also be used for many modern day 21 century objects in your home as well such as the microwave oven, the television, antennas and transmitters and the satellite radio. Directions/ example of how a radar would work: Magnetron generates high-frequency radio waves.  Duplexer switches magnetron through to antenna.  Antenna acts as transmitter, sending narrow beam of radio waves through the air. Radio waves hit enemy airplane and reflect back.  Antenna picks up reflected waves during a break between transmissions. Duplexer switches antenna through to receiver unit.  Computer in receiver unit processes reflected waves and draws them on a TV screen. Enemy plane shows up on TV radar display with any other nearby targets USES OF RADAR: The radar gun, is a device often the police use to fine speeding drivers with, what happens is the police shoot a beam towards your car, the beam reflects off the metal body of the vehicle in question, depending on how high the wave frequencies are determines whether or not you will be issued a speeding ticket. Navigation radar is used in many situations lets talk ships, the navy is the primary users of radar today, it has many uses for them including locating enemy ships, finding the distance of other ships to avoid collision in dreary weather and at night, to navigate on course to fix their various positions at sea so someone is aware of where they are if they get lost, measuring surface waves, monitor regular ship movements, sea traffic control, to warn of tropical storms and breaking waves and for sea clutters and traffic. Fun fact: even though radar is useful to find the enemy the enemy can also find you, the US navy has developed â€Å"secret† radar that is able to hide itself from being found at sea. Weather radar devices electronically convert the reflected radio waves into picture that show the location and intensity of precipitation and the speed of the wind. It can be used to track the intensity and the location of various types of precipitation. Or where bad weather is coming from and headed, It is also used to detect and track the velocity of thunderstorms and tornadoes. How to cite Types of the Radar, Papers

The report reviews various literatures for discussing the history, adoption as well development processes of Xero. The report also illustrates the competitive advantages as well as current gaps and challenges of Xero. According to Drury and Vickers (2015), the use of ancient software became obsolete and as a result, Rod Dury and some of his colleagues started implementing cloud based accounting software. Rod Dury implemented Xero in the year 2006 in Wellington for keeping the accounting software up to date (business accounting software | Xero 2016). The organizations of Australia prefer cloud computing due to some of its important features. Xero is cloud based and due to some of its unique features, it is adopted widely in the Australian market. The development procedure of Xero is divided into numerous steps. According to Erturk and Fail (2015), in the first step, the accounting software, Xero was developed as working software as it is quite easy for the people to use. After then a new feature is added which is known as prototype specification. It is generally provided as the blueprint of Xero for various development procedures (Lochrie et al. 2016). For achieving proper as well as effectiveness in the operations, the prototype specification is presented with the help of documentation. This is generally done for avoid various types of challenges including misunderstanding as well as poor implementation (Abbott and Webb 2013).The experiences of the users are generally developed by adding colors as well as graphics. In the last stage, prettygraphics are added for developing the software more and the time- period which is needed for the procedure is very much less. Market Size of Xero Accounting Software According to Wyslocka and Jelonek (2015), the adoption of current accounting software helps the organization to develop. The organizations are flourishing at an alarming rate and therefore the yearly collected revenue is around $30.3 million. The main reason behind the development of the organization is the product. Integration system of Xero helps in providing proper collaboration as well as encouragement for improving the different processes and application services of the organizations. Other accounting softwares are not able to provide the same extent of collaboration with different application services. The user interface, which is present in the accounting software, is quite simple as well as intuitive. It is opined by Gebhart et al. (2013), that Xero is quite easier to use and this is due to the presence of intuitive user interface. The user interface also helps in making the procedure fast as well as reliable. It is analyzed by Abbott and Webb (2013), that the price of accounting software is very much reasonable in the market of Australia as compared to other accounting software. Other most challenging issue is that Xero cannot be accessed without proper internet connection and as a result, poor connection of Xero does not allow the users to work on Xero properly as well as efficiently. According to Newburn (2014), the file of Xero can be effectively accessed as long as the subscription is active. For accessing Xero properly, it is very much necessary to have proper as well as fast internet connection. The procedure of automation can be avoided in context to Xero as it is quite complex. If the process is adopted by, some of the enterprises then their employees require training. Conclusion It can be concluded that Xero is largely used in different types of large scale as well as small-scale Australian enterprises. This is because of its unique features. It is identified that Xero can be accessed irrespective of the place as well as time as it is fully dependent on cloud.
